Terms of Service

By booking a photo booth hire with Snap Magic Photobooths (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“the Client”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions of Hire.

• •Quotes: Written quotations remain valid for 14 days from issue, subject to booth and date availability.
• •Booking Deposit: A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your event date and reserved equipment. Your booking is confirmed once the deposit has cleared.
• •Final Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to your event date via bank transfer (EFT) or secure card payment.

To guarantee punctual service and flawless operation, the Client is responsible for coordinating the following venue logistics:

• •Complimentary Early Setup: We arrive approximately 1 hour prior to your official booking start time to set up and calibrate our DSLR lighting, camera, and backdrop. This bump-in time is complimentary and does not count toward your hired hours.
• •Space Requirements: For DSLR booths with backdrop, a flat, level floor space of at least 2.5m x 2.5m (minimum ceiling height 2.2m) is required. For Drop-Off booths, a compact 1.5m x 1.5m space is sufficient.
• •Power Access: A dedicated, standard Australian 240V (10A) power outlet within 10 meters of the setup location.
• •Weather Protection: If outdoors, the booth must be situated completely under a waterproof marquee or sturdy shelter on dry solid ground, shielded from wind, rain, and direct high-temperature sunlight.

We service Melbourne CBD, Northern, Western, Eastern & South-Eastern suburbs, Bayside, Frankston, Mornington Peninsula, and surrounding Victorian regions:

• •DSLR Photo Booth: Complimentary delivery included within a 1-hour drive radius of our Melbourne hub. Venues situated beyond 1 hour drive time (e.g. outer regional Victoria) incur a travel fee confirmed at quotation.
• •Drop-Off Photo Booth: A transparent location-based delivery and collection fee applies based on your suburb district.
• •Loading Bays & Parking: The client or venue must provide convenient on-site parking or access to a loading dock for the duration of bump-in, event hire, and pack-down. Any paid commercial parking fees will be invoiced to the client.

Snap Magic operates with commercial-grade safety and venue compliance standards:

• •$2,000,000 Public Liability Insurance: We maintain a comprehensive A$2M Public Liability Insurance policy. A formal Certificate of Currency can be provided directly to your venue or wedding coordinator upon request.
• •AS/NZS 3760 Safety Tagging: All electrical cables, power supplies, continuous lighting, and Godox strobes are certified and safety tagged in compliance with Australian occupational safety regulations.

We understand that event plans can occasionally shift. Our cancellation and date-transfer terms are as follows:

• •Rescheduling (30+ Days Notice): You may transfer your booking deposit to a new date within 12 months, subject to booth and attendant availability, at no additional fee.
• •Cancellations within 14–30 Days: The booking deposit is retained, but any balance paid will be refunded.
• •Cancellations under 14 Days: 100% of the total booking fee is payable, as equipment and staff have been exclusively committed to your date.

Our attendants maintain a welcoming, lively environment for all guests. However, the Client assumes full responsibility for any willful damage, vandalism, or theft of Snap Magic equipment or props caused by attendees during the hire period.

In the rare event of unruly, abusive, or dangerous guest behavior, our attendant reserves the right to pause or cease operation until the venue or client restores safety, without entitlement to a refund.

All print templates include customized event branding (names, date, monogram) as approved prior to your celebration.

• •Client Rights: The Client receives unrestricted personal usage rights to download, print, and share all high-resolution images from the online gallery.
• •Gallery Hosting: The digital gallery is accessible online for at least 60 days following the event date.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
